The Lodge
Rugged Charm and Refined Elegance
Rivenrock is located in Craig, Montana, halfway between Helena and Great Falls, on a private mile of the Missouri River. Surrounded by nature, Rivenrock artfully combines rugged charm with refined elegance, providing guests with a lodge experience that harkens back to turn-of-the-century sporting lodges, while delivering modern day amenities and service.
After an exhilarating day on the river, guests can unwind with a cocktail followed by a gourmet meal crafted from locally sourced ingredients and paired with fine wines, before gathering around the fire pit to enjoy the dizzying array of stars in the Montana sky.
Each morning, guests can enjoy fresh brewed local coffee and teas, and enjoy a hearty breakfast from the lodge’s curated morning menu. We also prepare delicious lunches for your fishing day, upon coordination with your guide.
Our goal is to deliver a level of service that allows each and every guest to fully enjoy both adventure and relaxation — without having to choose between the two.

The Lodge
From the moment you enter the tree-lined drive and approach the commanding stone lodge, it’s clear that Rivenrock is anything but ordinary. Tucked along the banks of a winding river, it offers a rare blend of tranquility and adventure. Once the longtime sporting retreat of a Scottish-born New Yorker, Rivenrock is a place of character and comfort—thoughtfully refurbished over two years to honor its heritage while embracing modern luxury. Inside, you’ll find Old Hickory furniture, tartan-clad furnishings, and a curated collection of art and artifacts that reflect a deep appreciation for both angling and refined wilderness.
Whether you’re stalking sipping trout at dawn or watching the sun set dreamily over the water, Rivenrock offers an unforgettable escape, steeped in tradition and designed for those who value timeless beauty and quiet elegance.
